Luxor was the ancient city of Thebes, the great capital of Egypt during the New Kingdom. It remained the religious capital of Egypt until the Greek period.
At the beginning of your one day trip you’ll take short transfer by bus to airport, pass registration and go in 1-hour flight to Luxor by local airlines. Your language speaking guide will meet you in airport and give you support with information and all your needs during excursion.
Your introduction to the gallery of whole ancient history of Egypt will start from The Valley Of The Kings. There are 63 known tombs in the valley, 26 carved for kings and the others granted to royal family members or the highest of the elite, 12 of them are opened for public, you may visit 3 of them. Each royal tomb is not similar to another.
Near the Valley of Kings is located The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. There you’ll sea the closest example of classical architecture of anciant times.
After so magnificent walk you’ll need a rest in restaurant. While one part of your group prefers to stay for additional relax, another one could use an extra proposition to take a short boat trip along the Nile.
We have in store for the afternoon a stunning tour to The Temple of Kornak is grandiose East Bank Monument with building activity that began over 4700 years ago. Each new king rebuilt or remodeled a predecessor’s building. The Temple of Amen-Ra, Karnak’s principal building, is the largest religious structure ever built. You’ll get acquainted with temples dedicated to the gods andpharaohs.
The last stop is Papyrus Gallery, where you’ll been shown the whole process of papyrus production and you’ll have the opportunity to buy your personalized real papyrus chosen from the gallery of traditional scenes.
The way home will repeat you transfer to Luxor in reversed order.
