Ras Mohammed is located about 30 km south to Sharm-El-Sheikh. This first and only Egyptian National Park was declared in 1983 and now has territory over 480 km² with marine and terrestrial areas.
After halfhour transfer from the hotel you’ll have both terrestrial and water passages.
Your entrance to the territory of the protected area will pass through monument which is called the gate of Allah. Designed in 1973 this cement rocks look like the name of god "Allah" in the Egyptian language. During walking excursion you’ll pass by mangroves, geological faults of the earth – the result of seismic activities, the healing salty Magic Lake with water of all levels of hyacinth color where you can throw coins and make your wish.
On your trip across Ras Mohammed you’ll have 2 stops for swimming and snorkeling. You will enjoy the endemic flora and fauna of the reefs with more than 70 thousand years history. It consists more than 1000 species of tropical fish and more than 170 species of corals, sponges and gorgonians.
